Where We Started

The challenge

The original Atlas High Purity Water website provided a decent overview of what the company offered. However, it didn’t really showcase Atlas as the experts that they are in their field.

Information was sparse and none of the sub-pages contained any calls to action to entice visitors to take the next step in their sales funnel.

  • A dated and unprofessional visual design
  • A lack of details on product lines and information
  • Ineffective calls to action resulting in negligible leads generated
  • Web pages are not very usable by visitors using mobile devices
  • A fairly rigid and limiting content managements system
How We Collaborated

Design process

1. Original Website

Relatively plain in its design, the original website also didn’t function at all for mobile visitors.

2. Design brief

A detailed design brief was created to kickoff the project ensure it remained aligned with the clients objectives.

3. Wireframe

The key information was restructured to be more easily scannable for web visitors.

4. Final design

The wireframe was adjusted slightly and the client’s corporate branding was applied to give the design some life.
The Results

Our solution

Aesthetic enhancements

More than just an improvement in visual appeal, the new Atlas website incorporates design elements that hint at their industry, their city, and the areas they service. By adding a new orange accent colour to their brand palette, the new website can now call more attention to critical items.

Highly scannable content

The old website was very paragraph-heavy which lead to high bounce rates. We worked with Atlas to re-format their information into smaller content segments. Along with the use of headings, subheadings, and bullet points, this approach makes content more easily read by prospective visitors.

Resource support

To help Atlas publish their recent knowledge and findings, a new Resources section was incorporated into the website. Articles are posted on a regular basis to keep prospective customers informed of recent technological advancement. Additionally, this effort helps with search engine optimization (SEO) efforts and help drive traffic to generate relevant leads.
