Great service and company to work with. Ian was very helpful and detail oriented during the design process. We are really happy with our new website.
Where We Started

The challenge

In business for 40 years, Intertex has primarily relied on utilizing their network of relationships to build their client base through recommendations and referrals and are now looking to improve their digital marketing efforts. The previous website was originally designed to act as an online point of presence, however, due to a variety of technical reasons, the site was not fully functionality. Much of the website simple was not visible to users and made the site look like it had been abandoned. What content was available was outdated and presented in a manner that was unlikely to engage any visitors, and calls to action were practically non-existent.

  • A dated and unprofessional visual design
  • Broken functionality of several key website elements and pages
  • Non-existent calls to action resulting in negligible leads generated
  • No web pages were usable when viewed on mobile devices
  • A content management system that was broken, preventing content updates
How We Collaborated

Design process

1. Original website

The original website was not functioning correctly for desktop browsers, and was also incompatible with mobile devices.

2. Design brief

The design brief we created covered the main objectives of the projects and the customer groups we needed to cater to.

3. Wireframe

The new Home page layout was light on text so that the content is easily scannable.

4. Final design

Adding product visuals and background images added an industrial feel to the design that Intertex was aiming for.
The Results

Our solution

A fresh design

Although the bar was fairly low (given the previous website wouldn’t even load properly), the design of the new website provided a professional first impression to prospective clients. Capabilities and products were clearly highlighted and the company was highlighted as a small, but nimble group that is ready to tackle any challenge.

Product catalog

While just about all of Intertex’s products are custom designed and built for each client, much remains consistent across each item. Key product details across their range of products are highlighted and product downloads are available to provide additional details. Available fabric swatches for each product are also outlined highlighting the various properties that can be customized.
