Is This You?

We’re a good fit for …

  • Vehicle manufacturers (OEMs)
  • Warranty, F&I, and protection product providers
  • Aftermarket product and accessory manufacturers
  • Parts distributors with catalogues and dealer pricing
  • Automotive software, training, and services providers
  • OEM service, fleet, and logistics partners

If this describes your business, a 30-minute conversation is a good next step.

We might not be right if …

  • Individual dealership websites with live inventory feeds
  • Consumer car sales and listing platforms
  • Wholesale auction and remarketing platforms with live bidding
  • Parts retailers with year, make, and model fitment lookup across thousands of SKUs
Industry Issues

What we often see in automotive

A few patterns show up in most of the automotive website projects we work on.

Consumer content on a business site

The pages are written for the driver at the end of the chain, while the person actually signing is a dealer group evaluating a programme. The offer never gets stated in the buyer’s own terms.

French arrives as an afterthought

Selling into Quebec dealer networks means a properly bilingual site rather than a translation plugin bolted on at the end. Since Bill 96, that is a compliance question as much as a courtesy.

Programmes buried in PDFs

Product lines, coverage tiers, and rate sheets living inside downloadable brochures. Difficult to search, awkward to update, and a dead end for anyone comparing options.

Nothing for the dealers you already have

The site sells to prospects and ignores the network you spent years building. No training material, no claim forms, no co-branded assets, so dealers stop visiting and your field team answers the same questions by email.
Featured Project

Sym-Tech

As a provider of financial and warranty products to the automotive industry, Sym-Tech was looking to upgrade the design and performance of their website. Along with a complete re-organization of their multilingual content, the new website was focused directly at automotive dealerships and OEMs who offer their products to end consumers.

Canadian International AutoShow

Canada’s premier auto show required a visually interesting website that spoke to both automotive consumers, as well as the OEM automakers. An enhanced back-end was developed allowing the marketing team to provide up-to-the-minute announcements for the upcoming show.

Canadian Auto Dealer

Canadian Auto Dealer is the leading trade publication for Canada’s automotive retail sector. Complete with an advertising management tool, we developed a custom website for them on the WordPress platform as it is designed for exactly this type of article-based content.

OEM Retail Coaching Portal

A private portal to help an OEM vehicle manufacturer improve their customers’ retail experience. Coaches, dealers, and executives can access KPIs to identify areas of improvement.

OEM Dealer Marketing Tool

An internal application to help an automotive OEM provide customized marketing resources to its network of dealers. Editable forms were connected with mystery shopping data and handed off to be automatically printed.

Our Partnerships

Two partners who live in this industry

Our partners work almost entirely in automotive, which means campaign creative, trade press, and primary research are just a phone call away.

Marketing, PR & Production

An integrated marketing agency working across Canadian automotive, from OEMs and suppliers through to aftermarket firms. Their team covers strategy and writing through to photography and video, so a campaign can be built around the website.

Research & Advisory

A Canadian research and consulting firm working entirely within the automotive sector. With clients ranging from automakers and dealer networks through to associations and suppliers, they pair primary research with advisory work.

Our Capabilities

What we build for automotive companies

Not every automotive build needs all six. The dealer portal is usually the piece that decides how large a project becomes.

FAQs

A handful of the most common questions that our automotive clients have asked us.

Don’t see the answer you were looking for? Please send us a message and we’d be happy to help.
Do you build websites for individual car dealerships?

No. Dealership sites need live inventory syndication and OEM compliance tooling that specialist platforms handle better than we would. We work with the companies selling to those dealerships.

Can you build the site in both English and French?
Yes. Every page in both languages, with a switcher in the header. We built Sym-Tech’s national site that way, and did the same for the Canadian Auto Dealer magazine website.
Can dealers log in for training and claim forms?
Yes. Gated portals with role-based access are common on our automotive projects, and they are usually scoped as application development.
How do you handle OEM brand guidelines and approvals?
We work from your brand guidelines and build review rounds into the design process to ensure that co-branded material clears approval before development starts.
Do you work with automotive marketing agencies?
Often. We partner with both Universus Media and Clarify Group for many automotive projects. If you already have an agency, we are comfortable being the build partner and taking direction from their strategy.
What does an automotive B2B website cost?

A lot of factors go into the pricing of a project. It depends significantly on whether the build is bilingual and whether it includes a dealer portal. We will give you a real number after the discovery call rather than a range that may not apply to you.
